Canadian Ownership;

Canadian-controlled record labels, record or video production companies and Canadian citizens (or landed immigrants) including producers, managers and artists are eligible to apply to PromoFACT. The rights to both the master sound recording and the master EPK must be owned by a Canadian company or Canadian citizen (or landed immigrant).

New Production;

The objective of PromoFACT is to stimulate the production of EPKs, not to replace funds already allocated towards production. Completed EPKs will not be considered for financing.

Current Sound Recordings;

PromoFACT supports proposals for EPKs intended to promote current, active or forthcoming sound recordings as opposed to catalogue titles.

Musical Genre:

PromoFACT is sponsored exclusively by MuchMore. Artists who are likely to be programmed on MuchMore (as opposed to artists who are likely to be programmed on MuchMusic, MusiquePlus or Musimax) are eligible to apply.

Please note: Artists applying for PromoFACT funding may only apply for either viral video or website or epk funding at any one deadline.
